The devastating earthquake in Japan has kept many of us awake and concerned for all.  Fortunately, friends and family in Japan and Hawaii are all safe at this time and I am most grateful.  Friend’s husbands have been stranded at the office and because trains stopped running, some have walked seven hours to get home.  I wondered how they even could figure out which roads to take. Others living in the city have been housing those that have been stranded.

In such a disaster, it’s amazing to see how the whole country has come together to cooperate, be respectful and helpful toward one another.  There has been no problem with crime as the nation focuses their energy on getting their lives back together again.  It is a frightening time for many.  Please keep your thoughts and prayers for everyone there.  Thank you.
