I'll call this the Chinese tortilla - just wrap and go!
Recipe type: Meat and Vegetable
Cuisine: Chinese
Serves: 6
  • ½ cabbage, sliced thin
  • 4 eggs
  • 250g /1/2 lb. ground pork or strips of pork loin
  • garlic, chopped fine
  • salt
  • pepper
  • rice wine
  • hoisin sauce
  • 10 flour tortillas
  • Marinade:
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sake/rice wine
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  1. Place pork in bowl with marinade mixture. Mix well and let stand to allow flavors to blend.
  2. In frying pan, add oil and chopped garlic, then add chopped cabbage.
  3. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until soft. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Crack eggs in bowl, whisk and make scrambled eggs in the same frying pan. Remove from pan and set aside.
  5. In frying pan add oil, cook pork until done then add cabbage and scrambled eggs all together.
  6. Season with salt, pepper and rice wine. Place in plate.
  7. Assembling tortilla
  8. Wash frying pan and wipe dry. Heat the dry frying pan until hot. Braise each tortilla on both sides and place on plate.
  9. Now you are ready to assemble.
  10. In a tortilla, add Mu Shu Pork in center, squeeze or pour hoisin sauce on top and fold the bottom half first, then the two sides so the filling won’t fall out the bottom.
  11. Enjoy your wrap!
