Homemade Teriyaki Sauce: Only Four Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 1 cup mirin
  • ⅔ cup soy sauce
  • 1 head of garlic grated - you may use less if desired
  • 2 inches of fresh ginger grated, then squeeze the juice
Instructions
  1. In a small pot add mirin and bring to a boil.
  2. Add soy sauce and bring to a boil
  3. Remove from heat immediately.
  4. Add the grated garlic and ginger juice and let sit until slightly cooled.
Notes
If not using all at once, save the rest in a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.
