Matcha Rice Cake with Azuki Beans
Japanese sweet rice cake using matcha tea and beans. Gluten free!

  • Mochiko 150 grams
  • matcha ½ Tablespoon - sift if lumpy
  • sugar 5 Tablespoons
  • baking powder ½ Tablespoon
  • milk 150 cc
  • egg 1
  • salad oil 40cc
  1. mix all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. add milk, egg and salad oil. Blend well
  3. line a cake/loaf pan with parchment paper
  4. spread the azuki bean paste at the bottom of the pan
  5. pour the batter into the pan.
  6. to Bake
  7. preheat oven to 350F
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes
